Mount Batur Camping

We are now offering overnight Mount Batur Hiking trip to pristine Mt. Batur area surrounded by Caldera Batur. On our hiking and camping trips, you’ll enjoy guided day hike during the day to explore the peak, forest, and scenic sunset and sunrise views in one of the most amazing places on earth. Our overnight hike takes us up the summit the next morning for an incredible sunrise.

Day 1 : Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you directly to the base camp (starting point of the trek) and a special hiking and camping guide will accompany you all the time through the campsite until your hike finish. Our guides will take you to the sunset point to enjoy a beautiful sunset and will provide the tents, a campfire, hot drinks, and a tasty dinner. Here your guide will prepare your dinner which served with an outdoor food. Fall asleep watching the stars and listening to the serenade of the forest.

Day 2 : Wake up from a wonderful sleep and warm up by the fire, hot coffee or tea and breakfast will be served. After having breakfast and watching the sunrise, we will pack up our camp and continue our hike to explore the Mt Batur’s main crater, feed the wild mountain monkeys, and the trip continues down to the base camp and your driver will drive you back to your hotel.

Itinerary

Hotel pick-up and drive directly to the base camp
03:30 pm arrive at the base camp
03:45 pm Begin trail hike up to camp site/summit, accompanied by the licensed professional hiking guides and porters
05:45 pm Arrival at the camp site/summit where we will watch the sunset, build our tents for our overnight and watch the spectacular sunrise
06:30-07:00 pm, after the sunset, set a bonfire and enjoy the dinner
Next day, 06.00 wake up from a wonderful sleep and warm up by the fire, hot coffee or tea and breakfast will be served.
After having breakfast and watching the sunrise, we will pack up our camp and continue our hike to explore the Mt Batur’s main crater.
08:00 am begin the descent
09:30 am Trek is finished, you will drive back to the hotel
